Taqueria Del Barrio is her first brick and mortar restaurant, which is a culmination of her passion, hard work and love of all things bold and flavorful!

Chris martino-bar manager

Native Washingtonian and Johnson and Wales grad, Chris has been mixing things up in the restaurant scene for years. Though trained in the culinary arts, he is more often found behind the bar than in the kitchen. His approach updates classic cocktails and standards with new twists and embellishments, often incorporating shrubs, gastriques, wine, beer, molecular mixology, seasonal fruits, herbs and spices to create interesting flavor combinations and aromas. He is thrilled to be originating the bar program at Taqueria Del Barrio which will evolve with each upcoming season.
