Taqueria Del Barrio is the Mexican concept from the owners of DC Empanadas; Chef Anna Bran-Leis and Shawn Leis. Our menu features many authentic Mexican recipes as well as some modern takes on classic Latin American dishes. Everything is made daily, from scratch including our hand made corn tortillas. Our bar menu was crafted by Bar Manager Chris Martino and features a wide array of classic and signature cocktails including the Del Barrio made from Silencio Mezcal, Caramelized Pineapple and Habañero-Turmeric Syrup. Our wine list was curated by Wines By Raz with an emphasis on Latin and Spanish wines as well as a Champagne list hand-picked by Anna herself.
The decor, designed by Sucha Khamsuwan, evokes rural Taquerias by blending natural elements like wood, rope, concrete juxtaposed with modern flairs like Mexican tiles and hand painted murals by artist Matthew McMullen.

The cost of an entree, one mimosa, and entertainment is $25.00, that price does not include additional beverages, tax or gratuity. A 20% gratuity will be applied all checks.
***Please have your credit card ready to confirm your brunch reservation - it will not be charged, but we require 24 hr. advance notice to decrease your guest count or cancel your party. You will only be charged if you fail to provide the required advance notice to decrease or cancel your party, and then it will be charged on the day of the event, $25 per guest (the price of the show, plus tax) who does not show. Cancellations must be confirmed by emailing email@example.com by the required date & time.
Doors open promptly at 12 pm if your party isn’t complete and sat by 12:20 pm the reservation for guests not present will be canceled and the credit card will be charged accordingly.
The queens will ask if anyone is celebrating a special occasion and interact with those who wish to engage.
If you bring cake, the only outside food we permit, there will be a $2.50 plating fee per guest.
Age is at your discretion, though we caution there may be extreme language, costumes, and suggestive behavior.
